Noah's Ark Replica

Man builds working replica of Noah's Ark (exact scale given in Bible)

in Schagen , Netherlands

The massive central door in the side of Noah's Ark was opened to the first crowd of curious townsfolk to behold the wonder. Of course, it's only a replica of the biblical Ark , built by Dutch creationist, Johan Huibers, as a testament to his faith in the literal truth of the Bible.

The ark is 150 cubits long, 30 cubits high and 20 cubits wide. That's two-thirds the length of a football field and as high as a three-story house.

Life-size models of giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles, zebras, bison and other animals greet visitors as they arrive in the main hold.

A contractor by trade, Hu ibers built the ark of cedar and pine. Biblical Scholars debate exactly what the wood used by Noah would have been.

Huibers did the work mostly with his own hands, using modern tools and with occasional help from his son, Roy. Construction began in May 2005. On the uncovered top - deck not quite ready in time for the opening - will come a petting zoo, with baby lambs, chickens, goats and one camel.

Visitors on the first day were stunned. 'It's past comprehension', said Mary Louise Starosciak, who happened to be bicycling by with her husband while on vacation when they saw the ark looming over the local landscape.

'I knew the story of Noah, but I had no idea the boat would have been so big ' There is enough space near the keel for a 50-seat film theater where kids can watch a video that tells the story of Noah and his ark. Huibers, a Christian man, said he hopes the project will renew interest in Christianity in the Netherlands , where church-going has fallen dramaticall y in the past 50 years.

Tuesday morning

Another working days. Hopely i won't be so busy this week. As yesterday, a lot of my pending job are settle :) yea!! yea!! But arrrghh!!! my Blackie make a problem. Will be 'honing' if i swith off the key. Aiyaakk!!! Today the first thing i have to do is bring him to the centre. This must be the fius is sot sot teyy.

Opss can't write much. Time to go for work erkk go to send Blackie to hospital. Hopely he is not too sick too handle.

Sunday!

Hai alls! How are you guy today? I've a busy but relax day. Wake up about 7.30am and 9.00am send my bro to town for his first day working with the new company. This is his 2nd working experience. Thanks SIL for offering him the job. He really needs it now. Pity him go here and there looking for jobs and yet none of it reply any feedback. Starting a life with a new company meaning that he is moving to the quarters that is provided by the company. Good for them, nearby the working place and don't have to pay for the rental. My another bro is working there too.

Then the family go to Boulevard do some simple shopping, not to mention go to the Citrarasa again. And sadly not much food ready yet. Emm... prob with we bumis again. This 2 days expo is a chance for them to do promotion and get extra income and what the heck by 10.30am not much food been prepared yet but the place already been so crowded with people. They just missed the chance that should be grabbed.

Me, will not really in mood too. Just buy kropok lekor and eat a bowl of mee jawa special. This time i didn't take any snapshot. Not as excited as yesterday.

Then headed for home, i do some photo scanning for the reunion project. This album all about our experience climbing mount Kinabalu. Looking back all those pictures, i feels so greatfull, so lucky for giving myself the gut and the chance to see the beautiful world from the one of highest mountain in the world.

Friends

When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one bestfriend, And then I started to become a woman. And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, God would show you the best in many friends.

	One friend will meet your spiritual need, Another your shoe fetish, Another your love for movies, Another will be with you in your season of confusion, Another will be your clarifier, Another the wind beneath your wings.
	But whatever their assignment in your life, On whatever the occasion, On whatever the day, Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself ... Those are your best friends.
	It may all be wrapped up in one woman, But for many, it's wrapped up in several.. One from 7th grade, One from high school, Several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, On some days your mother, On some days your neighbor, On others, your sisters, And on some days, your daughters. zzzyy-one of my bestfriend have die, mr Cegaloo.

Citrarasa Miri 2009

Tengah hari tadi me and family pii ler menyibukkan diri bersesak2 kat tapak Citrarasa Miri 2009 yang berada di pengkalan letak kereta Boulevard. Bermacam macam jenis makanan di jual terutama nya makanan kering. Nasib baik lah keadaan tak sesak sangat. Mungkin sebab tapak tu besar kot lagipun kebetulan cuaca pun tidak begitu mengizinkan. Mendung semacam je. Awan cam kawah terbalik :) haha!! pinjam my besfren phrase jap.





Makanan pertama aku beli ialah Kropok lekor tapi tak sempat ambik gambar ahh. Ngap! Ngap! Tup tup dah abis........ Tu biskut2 kering. Not my favourite actually tapi tu hah taktau nak pilih apa, so beli je yang cantik dipandang mata. Lagipun if dah sampai umah nanti, sure mak suka. Huhuhu!!!!



Ni nama nya hati buyah. My favourite!! Ianya adalah paru paru lembu yang di goreng rangup2 dan lebih sedap lagi if dicampur dengan biji bijan.





Ni lah antara yang sis in law aku beli. Otak2, satay, dadih dan crispy apam balik. Sis in law aku ni if part makan2 nii memang on jee tambah lagi dengan sokongan 100% dari mak. Menjadi lah mereka berdua tu. Tu ler tadi, dalam kita berjalan reramai, tetiba diorg dua hilang. Tah mana tah, tempat besar ni susah nak cari aah, so aku dan yang lelain duk le lepak2 sambil makan2 kat meja makan bawah khemah besar yang disediakan. Memang sesuai sangat lah disediakan tempat makan ni. Malam ni lak akan diadakan majlis perlancaran Citrarasa ni yang akan dilancarkan oleh TYT Sarawak. Disamping tu ada gak persembahan dari artis2 tempatan seperti Dayang Nurfaizah, Awie dan M Daud Kilau. Tah betul ke tak hah, tapi tu ler yang DJ hebah2 kan masa aku pi situ tadi.





Dalam bebanyak2 menu kat situ, ni gak yang menarik hatiku. Nasi goreng siawmai dengan seketul sayap ayam (I can't live without ayam). Sedap aah walau dalam keadaan yang agak murah garam (masin! kita sering kata, gaknya garam tengah murah hah tu pasal lah diorg taruh banyak2)



Ni pulak menu my sis in law. Sedap!!! Mee jawa daging!! Emm rasa2 cam esok last day nak pi lagi hah. Nak try yang ni lak :p Yang sebelah tu lak antara makanan yang di beli. Pas makan pi jejalan lagi ahh servay2 around. Sambil tu sempat gak aku snap gerai2 yang mengambil bahagian.









Yang ni adalah antara Sarawak specialty, kek lapis sarawak. Cantik2 ah. Rambang mata tengok tapi aku takda beli. Aku suka makan masa hari raya je, masa tu baru ada feels.





Lada Sarawak, mmg banyak keistemewaan nya. Sedap tuk masakan begitu juga di buat gula2. Dan perfume lada sarawak sedap gak bau nya aah. If imported to overseas boleh laris aah tapi tu lah selain masalah logistic, masalah publisiti dan promotion juga menjadi faktor kenapa product tempatan ni tidak boleh maju jauh.

Sebelum balik, kami jumpa satu gerai yang very interesting!!! Sis in law aku bukan main excited gik tengok gerai ni.... Jeng jejeng...........

Dalam perjalanan balik lak lalu depan kedai2 ni. Sebenar ni lah jalan masa kami datang tadi. Tapi tadi tak sempat pandang kiri kanan hah sebab excited nak pi gerai yang jual makanan.





Mini funfair. Wahai monyet2 sekalian, di hutan kamu bergayut, di sini pun nak bergayut jugak ya. eh eh eh....



Pokok ni lah menarik perhatian aku. Cam pokok pinang dengan buah yang tengah masak ranum. Ehh, sis in law ku, kau jangan makan yaa... ni bukan pinang :p

Dalam perjalanan balik umah stop by my bestfriend house. Pagi tadi dia suh pi umah ambik udang. Sebagai oleh2 aku bagi lah sebungkus kropok tuk dia. Terkilan gak tadi lupa belikan dia kropok lekor. If esok pi aku belikan ya sis. See what she give me.....





2 ekor big lobster!!! Thanks you so much sis!!!



Oh ya lupa nak story tadi. Ni adalah antara kopi favourite aku. Dulu RM6 tak lama pastu RM7.50 dan sekarang RM8.50. Tadi ada promotion RM6.50 dan beli dua packet dapat free mug. Emm beli je lah since murah.
