While waiting for my bro to get more steady, we having a drink and having beef and chicken siawmai. And i eat 2 herb eggs. Never try before but seems my SIL's two friend really love it, so why not i have a try rite. Emm... the taste not much different from boiled egg just it got that some smell of herb.
After that we went to my cousin saloon to have my hair 'clipthong', that what hairstylist call them, but as for me it was having my hair temporaryly curly. While there, my cousin is half way do make over for one of Kumang Gawai competition contestant which happen to be last nite too. And just now while she call me, she said that lady won the title. So i did snap some accesorries of traditional iban costume.
Traditional corset!
The 'skirt', i don't know how it call in English but as we always said it just 'kain'.
'Tangu' or 'marik empang' will be putting around your neck. Beautifully craft with colourful beads.
'Selendang' or 'selampai' putting on top of your breast. Ops! but of course, you
have to use singlet inside it.
The crown! 'Sugu Tinggi' will be putting on top of your head.
The bell. Just part of accessories. To attract the audience. Actually there was more accessories need to be putting if you joined this Kumang Competittion. Usually this competition will be held before Gawai Dayak celebration. But sadly, i never attend any of them.
When i reached home, i found my Mr Black is on the floor! Jumping from the aquarium! In this picture i try to put him into the water again (who know it might still can be alive) but well, he's dead :(
